City Treasurer

The City of Holden Treasurer performs many duties vital to the daily operations of our local government. Listed below you will find many of the duties performed.

  • Perform budgeting duties, such as assisting in budget preparation, expenditure review, or budget administration.

  • Maintain fiscal records and accounts.

  • Serve as a notary of the public.

  • Responsible for managing the city’s new and outstanding debt

  • Review and report to the City Council and Mayor all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Process payroll and payroll liabilities including payroll taxes

  • Collect and receipt revenue received from the public, financial institutions, and various city departments. 

  • Reconcile the City’s various bank accounts on a monthly basis.
