Mayor

The responsibility of the Mayor of the City of Holden is to serve all citizens and business owners fairly and openly.  The Mayor works with the City Council to approve ordinances presented to him by City Council.  The Mayor has superintending control over all officers and affairs of the City.  He shall ensure that the ordinances of the City and the State Laws related to the City are complied with.  A commitment to applying these principles in the most professional and timely manner possible is key in guiding our community through continued growth and success.

The Mayor is elected from the citizens of Holden and serves a four-year term.
