Fire Department

The Holden Fire Department provides emergency services to approximately 2,100 residents of the City of Holden. Additionally, our department provides Basic First Responder EMS services to the residents as well.

The men and women of the Holden Fire Department respond to approximately 275 to 300 calls for service annually from one fire station. The emergency services provided include fire suppression, rescue, as well as hazardous materials first response.

In 2023 the Holden Fire Department completed a ISO review and was successful in lowering our overall ISO rating from a 6 to a 5. This new ISO rating went into effect December 2023.

The Holden Fire Department strives to support the health and safety of our community as a progressive fire prevention, and response organization.

We serve our community with “PRIDE” through exceptional fire, rescue, and emergency medical response, fire prevention, public education, and charitable community service.
