Surplus Items at City Hall

The City Hall has some surplus items that remain. We are now looking for scrappers, DIY/flippers, trash haulers that would be willing to come and pick up these items (all or some). If you  are interested in any of the items, then come to City Hall from 9-3, M-F to view them. We have 3 heavy upright metal filing cabinets, a metal desk, a short lateral file cabinet, and a pressboard type desk, shelf  and microwave stand units. We also have several desk chairs that need cleaned/refurbished or trashed. These items are FREE and are first-come, first-served basis. Please pass along this information to others. The city will not pay anyone to haul off the items; they will be voluntarily given to you.

Storm Shelter

Most of you might be aware of this, but the basement of City Hall is a storm shelter for the area.  Whenever we are under a tornado watch, our police officers on duty will unlock the building so residents can proceed to the basement.  The door to the basement is in the far northwest corner of the Hallar Hall.  Spread the word, so we can all stay safe during extreme weather!

Merit Board Opportunity
