National Fire Safety Council
5/15/2025
To all Business Owners: You might receive a letter from the National Fire Safety Council soliciting donations. It is not spam. The National Fire Safety Council is a non-profit organization that will provide public relations materials (stickers, coloring books, kids' fire hats, etc) to the residents of Holden whenever our Fire Department has events. Your donation keeps the FD from having the expense hit their budget. Chief Wakeman does a great job of managing a his budget, so every dollar donated to the National Fire Safety Council impacts Chief Wakeman's budget. You can mail your donation to: Holden Fire Department, 101 W 3rd Street, Holden, MO 64040 or drop it by City Hall.

Whenever we are under a tornado watch, our police officers on duty will unlock the building so residents can proceed to the basement. The door to the basement is in the far northwest corner of the Hallar Hall. Spread the word, so we can all stay safe during extreme weather!
