Payment Options

The City of Holden offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Please inform City Hall by calling 816-732-4811 if you have any issues with the payment portal or any of the forms so we can correct it.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please mail the payment AND the form/application to City Hall, 101 W. 3rd Street, Holden, MO 64040. If the form you need is not listed, you must come into City Hall to process.  

Payment In Person

The City Hall is open M-F from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You can come in and obtain any permit, license or rental during those hours and make payments at the same time. City Hall accepts cash, checks, and cards. 

Payment Over Phone

City Hall can also accept payment over the phone with a credit or debit card. Please call 816-732-4811 during business hours. 

Online Payments

If you'd like to make any payment online, then click this link: Online Payment . Please type what the payment is for in the "Comments" section on the online form. NOTE: You must email your form to cityclerk@cityofholden.com (or drop it by City Hall) AND get confirmation from a city official that it has been approved before the permit, license, or rental fee is valid.  

All online payments will be charged a fee per the schedule below.  These fees go directly to the credit card processing company and are NOT set by City Hall. If you do not wish to pay this fee, then use the check or cash option at City Hall: 

• Visa/MC/Disc: Under $60 = $1.75
• Visa/MC/Disc: Over $60.01 = 3%
• Amex: 3% + $1.75
• ACH/E-Check: = $1.75
