Street Department

The City of Holden Street Department prides itself in all duties of the department, with street improvements being the main focus. There have been special programs implemented to help our department provide the citizens with a better, more consistent city street system. Some of the duties of the Street Department are listed below. 

• Planning and preparing for street paving
• Pothole patching
• Culvert replacing/repair
• Snow removal/salt and sand
• Mowing
• Leaf pickup
• Sign repair/replacement
• Downtown and City Lake trash maintenance
